Phase 1 of Tatu Industrial Park is 90% sold, and the zone was doubled in size to the current 900 acres in order to meet demand.

In April 2019, Tatu Industrial Park introduced 1MW of solar power, located on the rooftop of Dormans.
Other companies in Tatu Industrial Park include Unilever, Chandaria Industries, Dormans, Coopers K-Brands, Africa Logistics Properties, Kim-Fay, Davis & Shirtliff, Tianlong, Parma Medical, Stecol Corporation, Kenstar, Maxam, Monwalk, Freight Forwarders Kenya, Gallagher, Friendship Containers, Bakpharm and Shenzhen Star, among others.
Tatu City is a Special Economic Zone, where businesses qualify for low corporate taxes, as well as customs and excise duty exemptions and zero VAT.
