NAIROBI, Kenya, May 6 – The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has admitted Polygon Logistics Limited into its premium incubation and acceleration program, Ibuka.

Polygon Logistics Limited is joining the Incubator Board of the Ibuka program following a rigorous evaluation and vetting process making it the seventh company to join the elite programme that is hosting high growth companies ready to commence their next phase of growth.

Polygon Logistics Limited is a leading logistics firm offering a wide range of logistical solutions to institutional and retail clients in the region. Established in 2010, the firms’ core business is focused around clearing and forwarding imports and exports shipments as well as air charter flight services and airline representation.

Speaking during the admission ceremony, Nairobi Chief Executive Officer Geoffrey Odundo, Chief Executive noted that the enrollment was a key milestone and will commence Polygon Logistics Limited next level of growth across its various business segments and markets.

“We are focused on supporting business growth through a well-structured program aimed at preparing companies to list or access various capital options offered in the market in line with their strategic priorities, “he said.

Managing Director, Polygon Logistics Limited Benjamin Amolo, noted that the admission will place the organization at a better place to grow in business.

“Our admission to the Ibuka Program will spur our growth and expansion as well as profile our business to a wide spectrum of local and international investors and clients locally and globally,” he said.

Additionally, the program will assist in inculcating improved corporatization, develop capabilities to access capital markets as well as provide a road map to long term corporate sustainability.

Since inception, the program has attracted six companies across various sectors.

Ibuka is an incubation and acceleration program designed for aspirational companies with growth prospects aimed at growing visibility whilst enhancing brand recognition and business opportunities among hostee companies.

The selected companies are enabled to fast-track their development by accessing financial advisers and consultants to help them structure their businesses, enhance visibility and get exposure among local and international investors.
